My kids (6 and 8) were fascinated by the glowing golf course; with my help it took them 35 min to complete that course.

After visiting Kids Club Fun and Fitness in Vancouver, Washington, I found myself not impressed with Safari Sam's. While my kids had a great time, I found the equipment needed some serious updating and I was really disappointed in the lack of slides. If you live in the Portland area, making the drive to Vancouver to go to Kids Club Fun and Fitness is really worth it. They have an indoor pool, HUGE play structure that is brand new, a section for ball play etc.

Thanks for the comment Susannah! I agree that it's possible to get 5 hours of play here; thus, it's definitely worth the money.

Vince Schreck, Ed.D.
Instructional Designer, Portland State University
Editor: Portland Family Adventures
www.pdxfamilyadventures.com

This place is a load of fun for the kids! And you WILL work up a sweat following your child around. I have a 7 yo, 5 yo and a 1.5 yo who is absolutely fearless. He got into the advanced section going around and I was following him and I was out of breath for sure! I also wasn't completely sure I was going to fit in all those nooks and crannies. Great amount of fun and the bouncers are fun for my kids anyway! We didn't really play much mini golf but if you plan this right, you should be able to get a good 5 hours of play out of your money. The food is the expensive part though!
