It sort of depends on what type of lifestyle/amenities you're looking for. We live in North Portland, and I like the fact that the Max Train is close, and we have plenty of biking lanes up here. However, things are a bit more spaced-out in North Portland. In Southeast Portland, everything is closer together, but there is much more traffic on the side streets.
